Verse of the Week: Psalm 111:3 (NLT) – “Everything he does reveals his glory and his majesty. His righteousness never fails.”
God is passionate about His glory. Psalm 111:3 tells us that everything that God does is for the display of His glory. Everything…not just some things…not even most things…but everything that God does is designed to reveal the truth of who God is. Each circumstance that God sovereignly orchestrates in our lives is intended to be an arena in which the beauty of who He is shines forth. Both the pleasant and the painful provide us with an opportunity to more clearly see the greatness of our God. This is what we were created for – to behold the glory of God – and this is what will bring us the deepest satisfaction in life.
